The University of Malaga (UMA) is represented in EM TTI by the Department of Translation and Interpreting and by the research group in “Lexicography and Translation” (LEXYTRAD, HUM-106). The Department of Translation and Interpreting, located in the Teatinos Campus, is one of the nine departments in the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Malaga. LEXYTRAD is an internationally recognised research group created in 1997 and is currently directed by Prof. Gloria Corpas. The research group was rated as one of the top performing units of assessment in Arts and Humanities in the recent 2017 autonomic assessment exercise (28,5/30). It has excellent collaborative links with Andalusian, national and international research groups as evidenced by the participation in national networks, coordinated actions as well as in Andalusian, Spanish and European R&D projects. Prof. Corpas, who is also Head of the Department of Translation and Interpreting at UMA, leads a workforce of 11 lecturers who will be teaching on EM TTI.
